What a fantastic article. I am an Acupuncturist in Nebraska. I am finding more and more of my clients are moving away from perfection. What you talked about is resonating in my clinic. My clients are talking to me more and more about the whole mine and body connection which is why they are on my table. They want to feel better inside and outside. I feel that people are wanting a more “authentic” experience. With me and Acupuncture and Facial Acupuncture and cupping.Like me, I am seeing my clients are becoming more comfortable with the evolution of aging. Where they want to spend money on amazing oils and products instead of a procedure. It’s nice to witness. In the end, I think we all just want to feel better and deal with life. Thank you for your posts. I really appreciate this community and your writing. ✍️

Great, great article Kevin James Bennett!! It’s about damn time too! It’s genuinely refreshing to see that perhaps, sanity is creeping back in. I especially loved your list changes—freckles…you’re spot on with this one! My 26 & 19 year olds love the look and have been dotting themselves for the past couple of years. Fake yes, but they really just love the of them. Thank you, for your extremely well written insights!

I hope this trend continues as an aging gracefully advocate. What I do laugh at is the freckles. As an Irish, Celtic skinned v freckled person it’s bonkers that people now want our freckles!!! We spent years hiding them, great they are super on point!!!!

Love this and am so happy to see that frozen face trending down. I find it so hard to "read" people who's face doesn't move. I long for real and authentic. I think that is the direction we are going. Thank you.
