As a cosmetic developer who specializes in shading complexion products, I see consumer foundation and concealer shades being thrown on the shelves and often ask myself, "Who the f*ck created these shades?" Were they colorblind, or do they not understand color theory and the subtleties of human skin tones?
I feel sad and frustrated for all the consumers who settle for foundation shades that are not calibrated properly, just because they want to use a popular brand/formula.
