Remember when microneedling was a slightly intimidating treatment you’d book with a dermatologist, complete with a consultation, consent forms, and a recovery plan that felt a little too much like recovering from minor surgery?
Well, plot twist: microneedling instruments are now sitting pretty on bathroom counters next to people’s jade rollers and gua sha tools, and frankly, the skincare world is still figuring out how to feel about it.

There has been a revolutionary shift in microneedling, from professional dermatology offices to at-home devices for beauty enthusiasts. However, these DIY microneedling tools are potentially damaging due to a real education gap on proper preparation and use at home.

So I thought it was time we addressed this technology for at-home use.
