Your Instagram and TikTok feed is probably full of beauty influencers hyping a “key ingredient” in an over-the-counter (OTC) cosmetic product and promising it will change your life.

FACT: Many of these content creators are compensated to promote these products, and they're not telling you the whole truth about the efficacy (effectiveness) of these “life-changing” ingredients.
