First of all, let’s be very clear, I am not a mineral makeup “hater”. In fact, I used to consult with the Jane Iredale mineral makeup brand.
This post stems from my continuing frustration with the amount of disinformation and ingredient fear-mongering promoted by cosmetic marketers and political lobbyists, such as the Environmental Working Group (more about EWG’s shenanigans here).

Let’s use some uncomfortable FACTS to debunk many of the deceptive and dishonest marketing myths that glorify the (alleged) superiority of mineral makeup.
Is it truly “good for you” makeup, or are the claims just too good to be true?
