It’s crazy because we’ve been doing it for so long. The funny part is I would never do this on my clients, but I did do the damp sponge on myself. Like, why? I’m a licensed esthetician as well what the heck was I thinking?! Maybe I just wanted to fit into the trend in 2016
It’s interesting that I stopped using the damp sponge (use my fingers instead) and also stopped wearing a full face of foundation, after realising there is no point to put it on areas that don’t require coverage at all. We fell for myths but they will be debunked as long as we observe the results and listen to the needs of our skin. There is a steep learning curve if we do it that way, just that it “only” took me 20+ years to realise I only need foundation on the Center of my face lol!
So Interesting. I feel
Like I know this and the influencers I fluence me.
Brilliant as usual Mr. Bennett. Thank you for your leadership and knowledge.

We are so in sync. I was just talking about this. It is one of my soapbox favorites. Great info.
